These horizontal brush hoods are designed to work on aluminum end bells for a variety of applications. i.e. 27L, Cobalt 12 , or Hillbilly 12. They are produced from Aircraft Grade aluminum alloy 6061. After the stamping process they are Hard Nickel plated and then a final plating layer of Gold is applied. The mounting holes for assembly to the end bell match those for Cahoza brush hoods. The spring slots are 13% deeper for better brush life in race conditions. The fit up for the brush installation is very smooth.
